What is uaap 85?

UAAP Season 85 was held in 2012 to 2013. It was participated in by eight member universities, namely: Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, National University, University of the East, University of the Philippines, University of Santo Tomas, and Adamson University.

The opening ceremony of UAAP 85 was held on July 14, 2012, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. It was the first time that basketball games were held at the newly constructed arena. The season's theme was "Unbreakable @ UAAP 75," which reminisced the previous seasons' unforgettable moments.

The championship titles were awarded to the following teams: Ateneo de Manila University in Men's Basketball and Women's Badminton; University of Santo Tomas in Women's Volleyball; La Salle in Men's Football; National University in Women's Chess; and University of the East in Men's and Women's Fencing.

UAAP 85 was a successful season – it had already attracted large audiences and had online followership through its social media platforms. It aims to uplift the spirit of collaboration and sportsmanship among the member universities and their student-athletes.
